DESCRIPTION:Join your Mid Atlantic BX for a full-day workshop to help you prepare to take the LEED AP exam in Building Design & Construction. To be eligible to take the LEED AP exam,  you will need to have worked on a LEED project within the past 3 years. You will need a letter from a supervisor, client or someone else familiar with your role on the LEED project to register for the exam with the Green Building Institute.\nA light breakfast, breaks and lunch will be provided. The workshop fee includes a workbook and license key to an online practice exam service, as well as a study guide to help you in your preparation for the exam.\nAbout your instructor\nDavid L. Sheridan, PC is a principal in an environmental engineering consulting firm, providing training and advice in sustainable water resource management. Mr. Sheridan is the Executive Director of the Green Building Association of Central Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is an instructor in civil engineering professional examination preparation courses and LEED training courses for Professional Publishers Inc, and a trainer in green building practices for public and private groups. Additionally, Mr. Sheridan is LEED advisor for several green building projects including, the Carlisle Area Health and Wellness Foundation new office building, the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter new office and shelter facility, the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials renovations for new offices, and Penn State Harrisburg new student housing.
