From the association that construction businesses across the Mid-Atlantic region have turned to since 1938 for trusted construction industry information and support comes a new and better way to provide cost-effective and customized health insurance options for your employees – and more certainty and cost control for your business.
Rather than waiting until 2014 to offer members a compliant health care plan, MABX is now building our own private health insurance exchange to ensure that MABX members have access to the valuable and affordable health insurance options they need to compete.
Open Invitation
To participate in our Ensurex Health Insurance Exchange, information submissions will be accepted from MABX members through March 15, 2012.
We’re building this integrated health insurance marketplace to simplify and improve our members’ health insurance purchasing and administration, and to position them for compliance in advance of 2014 healthcare reform deadlines.

During this initial project phase, participating members will enjoy a relaxed underwriting process and will be the first to view the wide selection of plan options and rates. There’s no obligation – but plenty of benefits, including:

All approved Charter members will receive the same rates for the exchange plans

Four month initial open enrollment window to enter the exchange

Deductible credits will be applied if a company joins in the middle of their current plan year

Charter members will have relaxed underwriting guidelines during the open initiation period

Only groups with 2-20 enrolled employees will be required to complete the individual electronic applications

Groups with more than 20 employees are only required to complete a group application
-
Once the open invitation period closes, groups with 2-50 employees will be required to complete the individual medical applications
